About me

I am a Finnish nature and wildlife photographer. My trip with the camera has lasted already for over 30 years. Originally, I got the spark for nature and photography from birds. Since then, I have broadened my repertoire to mammals, landscapes and other nature related subjects.

Some of the most important places for me in Northern nature are boreal forests and mires. Lapland and the arctic shores of Norway get me to return to the far North time after time. The Baltic Sea and Estonia have been my destinations for several trips.

For a good nature and wildlife photograph it is crucial to know your target. For me, a good photograph has to be in balance with its components and composition.
